The HIV Writers Workshop encourages artistic development through writing as a modality for self-exploration and personal growth. It is for all people. This means everyone affected and infected by HIV/AIDS, which is everyone. We are an inter-generational, socially diverse, very LGBT group of tolerant people. We are artists and non-artists. We are merry makers and tragedy players. We are dedicated to the work of investigating our lives through creative writing. We play with the magic of storytelling that comes when we break open our hearts to see what is inside.

The Workshop is not a drop in workshop but asks for regular attendance during either our spring or fall sessions. It is free of cost and meets Saturday afternoons near West Hollywood.
